Prepare for the next level

I apologize for not posting in a while, and I hope that everyone is doing well. I hope that everyone is having nothing but growth in their lives and whatever seed you planted is birthing nothing but good fruit. I’m writing this post because there have been a few things that have crossed my mind. The thought which can be humbling showed me first hand that you never know what God has in store for you. Yes, I understand that there are people reading this that do not believe in God but I want to let you know that God still loves you and many blessings will come your way even if you do not see it right now. We are all special and we all have a purpose in life.

Now, to get the point, we must face the reality that sometimes, for everything to come together, things need to fall apart first. Or some things need to be cut off permanently or delayed because you’re not quite ready for that position in your life just yet. In fact, you hear it all the time – people hitting rock bottom before they bounce back up and soar. It’s difficult to write a new story on a sheet of paper already covered with words, but if you’re given a clean sheet of paper – a clean slate – it’s much easier to create whatever story you’d like. Remember this quote:

“It might take a year. It might take a day. But, what’s meant to be will always find a way.”

I think this is a quote that all of us should read, sit back and dwell on because many of us are blessed with unimaginable gifts that the world must see. However, obstucles in life prevent people from giving those gifts life. Be honest with ourselves, I think this is something we believe deep down and know to be true. However, the darkness in the world at times drowns our very being in doubt and makes that once clear picture become cloudy. The questions that may surface in our minds are “What if what I want isn’t really what is meant to be?” It’s so easy to fall into the trap of doubting and questioning if the things we want in our lives are going to happen. Another thought that may come to your mind is, “Maybe I am just wanting something that I am never going to have” or “If it really is meant to be, then why aren’t things falling into place?

I’m certain these questions arise because it literally happens to almost everyone, sometimes more than others.  Every person lives these negative experiences; there is no exception. Your experiences will surely differ from those of others, but the pain is just about the same. You may be special, but not in this regard. Everybody suffers. Everybody loses. Many will give up. Many will accept defeat. But some will find the strength to keep pushing, keep trying, keep dreaming. My advice to you as simple as it may sound is to be patience, be humble and continue putting in the work. There are doors in our lives that will be available to you at times where you do not expect. Always be ready, but most importantly always have good character because your work and character can go hand in hand. This is a discussion that can go further than this piece and I’m ready for a conversation.
